Welcome to iBEE 2013

Aled Williams, Conference Chair

Building upon the success of prior iBEE events, this year’s interactive conference will focus on ‘Solutions for uncertain times' for built environment higher education.

A ‘can’t miss’ event for networking, CPD and acquiring fresh ideas about learning and teaching in built environment higher education.  It is being hosted by the University of Westminster and supported by the Higher Education Academy (HEA), Council of Heads of the Built Environment (CHOBE) and Associated Schools of Construction (ASC).

“iBEE seeks to engage with academics across the built environment disciplines, to enthuse about their teaching and to share good practice. It will provide an opportunity to experience excellent and innovative practice and be challenged about the capacity to make a difference to the learning experience of students and to the learning cultures of built environment schools and departments”.

The event will allow educators to actively engage and learn from the best of a set of experiences and approaches and explore how they might be used in their own context. iBEE is a showcase for novel and creative approaches to teaching and learning and provides a unique opportunity for participants to experience effective and exciting ways of energising learning.
